Building Stronger Communities Through Meaningful Action

Kalima Resort & Spa, Phuket is proud to play an active role in supporting our local community through a variety of social, environmental, and cultural initiatives. From beach cleanups and mangrove reforestation to youth support, animal welfare, and healthcare contributions, we are dedicated to giving back and creating a positive impact in the lives of those around us.

We are proud of the donation of unused linens to Soi Dog Foundation in 2023 and continuously in 2024. This plays an important role in supporting stray and abused animals in our community. We will continue this project and also aim to invite our guests to participate the donation in 2025 onward.

Each year, our focus remains on supporting meaningful community projects, particularly through our participation in Thailand’s National Children’s Day, held annually on the second Saturday of January. As part of this initiative, we provide food, beverages, and educational scholarships to children at Kalim Primary School, Ban Sai Nam Yen Primary School, and the Phuket Special Aid School for children with disabilities. In addition to supporting youth development, we actively collaborate with local communities in beach clean-up activities, mangrove forest restoration, and tree planting projects, contributing to the preservation and enhancement of Phuket’s natural environment.

In 2024, the hotel donated a total of 2,000,000 THB to Vachira Phuket Hospital to support the construction of the Radiation Therapy Building. This contribution reflects the hotel’s commitment to being a part of the local community and aims to help ensure that the people of Phuket have access to effective and quality medical treatment.
